Native Abundance Initiative

Inspiration
Doug Tallamy’s book, Nature’s Best Hope, is our inspiration for this initiative! Each of us, in our own backyards and communities can restore biological diversity and create our very own natural oasis of native plants, pollinators and birds.
Education and Restoration
In many areas, before we can plant natives, we first need to remove the invasive plants that have overrun our yards and parks. As part of our Native Abundance Initiative, we will teach young people about invasives and natives and how we can foster greater biodiversity.
